“Having mostly lit theatre, dance and cross-disciplinary productions for the last 15 years, I am delighted by the opportunity to light a full-scale opera for the first time. The Flying Dutchman is a wonderful chance to learn about the art form and in the process, I hope to find and develop a vocabulary that would balance and meld its traditions and conventions with the distinct flavour that the team strives to instil collectively in our very own version.”
